NA Law successfully obtains Tier 2 Sponsorship Licence for tech company
Background
The client, a multi-national company who deal with Cloudstack technologies, informed NA Law Solicitors that they would like assistance with applying for a Tier 2 Sponsorship Licence in order to sponsor a non-EEA national for their business.
We ensured the client met the specified requirements and assisted them with the process of collating the relevant supporting documentation for the application. Furthermore, we worked with the client to draft detailed compliance documents to ensure they have the relevant compliance procedures in place in accordance with the immigration rules.

Sponsorship licence application
Once the relevant supporting documentation was collated and the compliance documents were drafted, we subsequently produced detailed legal representations in support of why our client required a sponsorship licence in line with their commercial needs and targets as a company. We included a section on how they met the requirements of the resident labour market test through providing proof that they have attempted to fill the respective vacancy with a settled worker on numerous occasions without any success. This strengthened our client’s case in proving that the vacancy was one that was highly skilled due to the nature of the work involved and further emphasised the fact that a non-settled worker was required.
Outcome
Finally, we assisted our client with the completion of the online sponsorship licence application form and submitted the application. The sponsorship licence was granted and the client was tremendously satisfied with the outcome.
Now that the company has successfully obtained the sponsorship licence, they are currently working with NA Law Solicitors to complete the Tier 2 (General) visa application for the non-EEA national in question. Once this is granted, the individual will be free to work for the company as a sponsored migrant.
